Two University of Mobile vocal ensembles were invited to perform at the White House during the Christmas season. The 16-member VOICES of Mobile ensemble and RamTonz, UM's barbershop quartet, performed while guests toured the President's home and viewed Christmas decorations.
This is the second consecutive year that VOICES was recognized nationally with an invitation to perform at the White House, and the first invitation for RamTonz. Both groups are under the direction of Dr. Al Miller, assistant professor of music and senior academic fellow in the UM Center for Performing Arts.
