PC girls edge Belgreen with late free throw

Chasity Morgan scored 19 points and made the go-ahead free throw with three seconds remaining on Friday as Phil Campbell's girls won a thriller over Belgreen, 63-62.
Caitlin Stancil had 21 points to lead the Lady Bobcats, who raced out to a 17-5 lead after one quarter.
Belgreen out-scored Phil Campbell 24-13 in the second quarter to get within one at halftime, and the Lady Bulldogs took a 44-41 lead into the fourth quarter.
Deborah Billingham finished with 19 points to lead Belgreen. Mary Billingham added 17, and Monica Smith had 11.
Shelly Cooper added 10 points for Phil Campbell (10-15).

The Bobcats made their first nine shots of the game and finished the night 13-for-21 from three-point range, avenging their loss to Belgreen in last week's county tournament.
Chase Hutcheson and Caleb Thompson each made four threes for Phil Campbell (12-12), and Jonathan Dill finished a perfect 6-for-6 from the field.
The Bobcats led 28-18 after one quarter and then blew the game open by out-scoring Belgreen 25-12 in the fourth.
Thompson finished with 18 points to lead Phil Campbell. Hutcheson added 14, and Dill had 12. Jay Steward scored eight, and Steven Lacey had six.
Kyle Warren led the Bulldogs with 13 points. Marty Britton and Lucas Albert each added 10, and Taylor Hester had seven.
