Mars Hill's long-awaited new preschool building is set to open Tuesday, March 13.
The move comes as an effort to allow the staff to accommodate more children, increasing the number of classrooms from six to nine.
Mars Hill Preschool has been located on Hemlock Street just behind North Highland Church of Christ for the past 20 years. The move will take the preschool to a building that is three times larger than their current building.
"The move is bittersweet, but it's exciting." Said preschool staff member Becky Barnett, "North Highland Church has been good to us, but we needed more room to accommodate more children." The preschool is open to children ages 2 and 1/2 to 5. To enroll, contact the preschool at 331-0766.
