The Franklin County Sheriff's Department arrested several suspects believed to be involved with a weekend burglary and vandalism at a local business.
Three suspects were taken into custody Wednesday afternoon. Joshua Blankenship, 20, of 1525 County Road 110 in Town Creek, Alexander Nelson, 64, of 264 County Road 161 in Town Creek, Bradley Sexton, 18, of 4330 County Road 222 in Hillsboro and Josh Trapp, 21, of 6103 County Line Road in Franklin County, were all charged with second-degree theft of property, third-degree burglary, and criminal mischief.
Trapp was also charged with attempting to elude, Franklin County Sheriff Larry Plott said.
Investigators said that a report was filed earlier in the week that a theft occurred at Vulcan Materials, located on Highway 243, over the weekend.
Items taken include tools and copper wiring.
Vandalism was also reported in the office and other areas of the business.
Franklin County received a tip from the Lawrence County Sheriff's Department about the whereabouts of property taken from the business.
The items were retrieved from 6103 County Line Road, where Trapp resided, Plott said.
