The RHS Show Choir gave their annual spring performance Monday night at the auditorium after only a week to prepare for the performance.
The 20-song show consisted of a variety of music including country, pop and patriotic and show tunes.
The show included choreography that enhanced the performance of the songs.
Former RHS choir member Patrice Burcham-Smith choreographed the show.
"We have been working on their favorite songs from last year," choir director Patti Kimbrough said.
The show choir has several seniors, and Monday night's event was their last performance as RHS choir students, so there was multimedia presentation honoring the seniors at the beginning of the event.
Ten of the songs included in the show were solos or had solo parts in them. Members who performed solos in the concert are Jordan Burcham, Tanner Hall, Lindsey Cash, Jerrell Harris, Anna Bracken, Haley Long, Sacora Martinez, Anne-Marie Hall, Gina Pounders, and Olivia Suggs.
"These are some the most talented students in the state, and I am very proud of them," Kimbrough said.
Ten of the choir's members have earned state awards and recognition for their talent.
Kimbrough directed the choir for 27 years before retiring in May 2006, and decided to volunteer her time to help the students with this year's show because their director had to take time off suddenly.
