Potter benefit singing

Mr. and Miss Founder's Fest pageant
Sept. 8
RED BAY – The annual Mr. &Miss Founder's Day pageant will be Saturday, September 8 at 11 a.m. in the Red Bay High School Auditorium. The pageant, spnosored by the Red Bay High School cheerleaders, is for girls ages 0-4 (Sunday dress only) and ages 5-18 (formal wear), and boys 0-? years (Sunday dress only). The entry fee is $20, and $5 to enter the Most Photogenic contest. The deadline to enter is September 4, and all checks should be made payable to RBHS Cheerleaders, P.O. Box 1518, Red Bay, AL 35582. Antique Car &Truck Show
Sept. 15
CARBON HILL – The Kiwanis Club of Carbon Hill presents its 10th Annual Antique Car &Truck Show, rain or shine, on Saturday, September 15. Registration is from 8 a.m. until noon, and the fee is $15 to enter the show or set up a vendor booth. The first 100 cars will receive dash plaques, and prizes will be given out at 12:30 p.m. Admission is free to the public, and the show will be held in downtown Carbon Hill (next to City Hall) on Hwy. 78. The Russellville High School Class of 1977 will hold its 10-year reunion on Friday, September 21 at 7 p.m. in the RHS Fieldhouse and Saturday, September 22 at 6:30 p.m. at Dale's in Sheffield.
