With winter comes the all too familiar sound of sneezing and coughing. Aching muscles and fever usually tell us that we're getting sick. Country Cottage in Russellville is helping others avoid the flu by offering a flu shot clinic Saturday, Oct. 13 from 1 to 4 p.m.
"We want to help people stay well this winter and hopefully avoid getting the flu," said Managing Director Betty Chesnut.
People with qualified Medicare Part B and not a member of an HMO will receive their flu and pneumonia shots free of charge, and the clinic will file their claims with Medicare. All others will pay $25 for the flu vaccine, $35 for pneumonia vaccine and will have to file for reimbursement themselves.
