Kenneth David Oliver, 54, passed away at his home Oct. 4, 2007. He was born in Cleveland, Ohio, Aug. 21, 1953.
Funeral services were held at Spry Memorial Chapel with Bro. Vern Cummings officiating. Burial followed in Franklin Memory Gardens.
He was preceded in death by hus grandparents, Grady E. Oliver and Rosalee Oliver.
Pallbearers were Ken Crittenden, John Oliver, Tony Barber, Genus Miller, Shane Vandiver and Donnie Brewer.
He is survived by his son, Joseph Enix Jacobs; mother, Betty Oliver Washington; step-father, Jimmy Washington; sisters, Rosemary Washington Miller and Melissa Washington; four nieces and nephews.
Kenny always had good friends and a loving family and will be missed, especially his beautiful smile.

William Powell McCullar, 79, of Haleyville passed away Oct. 9, 2007 at Princeton Hospital. He was a member of the Waldrop Freewill Baptist Church.
Services were held Oct. 11 with Hugh Cavender officiating. Burial was in Winston Memorial Cemetery.
He is survived by Johnny McCullar and Marilyn McCullar, both of Haleyville; seven grandchildren, eight great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild. He was preceded in death by his wife, Cathern Bernice McCullar; daughter, Barbara McCullar Grice, parents, Vrnon and Minnie McCullar and brother, Aubrey Lee McCullar.
