Phil Campbell singer selected for Mobile ensemble

By Staff
MOBILE – University of Mobile student James Berrian of Phil Campbell, was selected to sing in the UM Center for Performing Arts' vocal ensemble VOICES of Mobile.
Berrian, the son of Jim and Gina Berrian of Phil Campbell, is a junior majoring in music education. The 2005 graduate of Phillips High School is a member of Hines Baptist Church.
VOICES of Mobile is among the 19 performing ensembles from the University of Mobile's Center for Performing Arts. The 16-member VOICES presents compelling performances of both sacred and secular music in schools and churches, at conferences and civic events. VOICES also participates in CPA events including "StarLight," "Saviour," and the annual "Christmas Spectacular!" Maintaining a highly visible profile and consistent performing schedule is routine for the group, which has performed in the White House and toured extensively throughout the southeastern United States and abroad.
Ensemble members place a great emphasis on a desire to please the Lord in word and deed, as summarized in the VOICES mission statement: to "Honor the Lord with our Lives and Praise Him with our Voices."
