Congrats to county's citizen of the year

By Staff
Thursday night, Cecil Langcuster was recognized with one of the highest honors that can be bestowed upon a resident of Franklin County – the Citizen of the Year Award.
After years of Army service, coaching, teaching, sales and countless hours of volunteer work, Mr. Langcuster was finally given something he never wanted but so richly deserves: Recognition.
The Langcusters are dear friends of this newspaper. Cecil serves on our reader advisory board and his wife, Suzanne, contributes a weekly food page and recipes.
Two more genuine people you may never meet in your lives.
Thursday night Cecil Langcuster got something he's earned many times over: A standing ovation.
Thank you Cecil for all that you've done and continue to do on a daily basis.
Franklin County is a better place because of you and those like you.
