Position/Employer: Manager, Five Star Pizza

FCT: What do you enjoy most about your job?
TS: One of the things I really like about being in the pizza delivery business is not being confined to one little area. While you're delivering, the whole area is your workplace. And I like getting involved in community events.
FCT: What are your best-selling items?
TS: Cheese bread and the large Super Star pizzas, which come with everything on it.
FCT: What are the long-term plans for your store?
TS: Before Five Star, I was the supervisor of seven pizza stores, and I'm kind of burnt out – I'm just fine here. I make the same money and can stay focused on my family, which is more important to me than work.
FCT: Where do you shop locally?
TS: We buy a lot of food from Big Star and Foodland, and we shop a lot at Dependable Hardware.
FCT: Which local restaurants do you like to visit with your family?
TS: We like Jonathan's and Rancho Viejo.
FCT: How does your family spend summer vacations?
TS: For the past two years, we've spent our summer vacations in Chattanooga. And we've made sure all of the kids have gone to Disney World once, although not all together.
FCT: What do you enjoy doing in your spare time?
TS: I listen to music and go to band and choir performances – all of my kids are involved in music. I also like to play golf, and we have a sign and memberships at Twin Pines.
