Terry Joe Wilemon, Jr, 18, of Red Bay, died April 23, 2008, from injuries sustained in an automobile accident.
He was born Nov. 6, 1989, in Tupelo, Miss. He was a member of the junior class at Red Bay High School and a member of the varsity football and track teams. He attended Community Center Baptist Church. He was preceded in death by his grandfathers, Floyd Ellis Cromeans and Tryson Wilemon.
Funeral services were held Saturday, April 26, 2008, at Red Bay Freewill Baptist Church with Bro. David Humbers, Bro. David Corum and Bro. Mark McCraney officiating. Burial was in Red Bay City Cemetery.
He is survived by his mother, Regina Blanton (John) of Red Bay; father, Terry Wilemon, Sr. (Paula) of Red Bay; three brothers, Dustin Wilemon and Levi Blanton, both of Red Bay, and Daniel Forrest, of Tupelo, Miss.; one step-sister, McKenzie Lynch, of Red Bay; one step-brother, John Blanton, Jr., of Calif.; grandmothers, Ethel Cromeans, of Fairview; Betty Wilemon, of Red Bay and a host of aunts, uncles and cousins.
Honorary pallbearers will be Coach Dale Jeffreys, Coach Jeremy Jeffreys, Coach David Corum, Coach Jamie Purser, Coach David Deason, Coach Drew Davis and the rest of the 2007-2008 Tiger football team, Alex Hall, Mark Carlton and Josh Coats.
Pallbearers will be junior classmates, Caleb Collins, John Thigpen, Cody Armstrong, Cody Tucker, Casey Keeton, Duncan Strickland, Tyler Nichols, Brock Raper and Josh Wigginton.
Velma I. Streetman

Velma Irene Streetman, 78, of Red Bay, died April 20, 2008, at Red Bay Hospital.
She was born Dec. 28, 1929, in Mississippi to Luther Samuel and Eva Wilkins Streetman. She was a homemaker and a member of Mt. Gilead Baptist Church, Burnsville, Miss. She was preceded in death by her parents and a brother, Allen H. Streetman.
Funeral services were held Tuesday, April 22, 2008, at Shady Grove Baptist Church in Burnsville, Miss. Deaton Funeral Home Red Bay assisted the family.
She is survived by five sisters, Neoma Linzie, of Corinth, Miss.; Readus Streetman, Mary Jernigan and Kathy Belue, all of Red Bay, and Betty Vandergriff (Walter), of Rienzi, Miss.; four brothers, Herschel Streetman (Karen), of Crothersville, Ind.; Milton Streetman (Nelda), of Rienzi, Miss.; James Streetman (Murt), of Mooreville, Miss.; Sammy Streetman (Teresa), of Booneveille, Miss., and a host of nieces and nephews and great-nieces and nephews.

Jimmy Lee Winsted, 61, of Colombia, S.C., died April 24, 2008. He was a former resident of Russellville and a was a pastor.
He was preceded in death by his father Veto Winsted.
He is survived by his wife, Brenda Winsted, his son, Jeffrey Winsted and daughter Sarah Winsted, all of Colombia, S.C.; his mother, Minnie Lee Winsted and sisters, Lynn Shook and Carolyn McClellan, all of Russellville.
Funeral arrangements were handled in Colombia, S.C.

Louise Cook Crane, 64, of Phil Campbell, passed away Friday, April 25, 2008.
The funeral will be at 2 p.m. Sunday, April, 27, 2008, at Spry Memorial Chapel. Officiating will be Bro. Ronald Watson. Interment will be in Liberty Hill Cemetery in Phil Campbell.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Oscar and Nancy Cook.
She is survived by her daughter, Myra (Ricky) McDougle, Spruce Pine; son, Michael Crane, Rogersville; 5 grandchildren, Courtney (Adam) Carter, Utah, Cody McDougle, Spruce Pine, Jessica Crane, Hunter Crane, and Kaitlin Crane, Rogersville; two great-grandchildren, Harley Carter, Kylee Carter, Utah; brothers, Bobby (Hazel) Cook, Billy (Connie) Cook, Jacky Cook, and Lloyd (Sue) Cook; sister, Inez Yealock and Fayrene Morgan.
Pallbearers will be Cody McDougle, Hunter Crane, Nick Marbutt, Robert Yealock, Woody Loden and Obie McDougle.

Thelma Vaughn, 85, of Russellville, died Friday, April 25, 2008, of natural causes.
The funeral will be at 2 p.m. on Sunday, April 27, 2008, at Akins Funeral Home with burial in Bethsaida Missionary Baptist Church Cemetery. Officiating will be Bro. Terry Bendall.
She was a native of Montgomery County, Miss., and a former resident of Franklin County. She was a member of Bethsaida Missionary Baptist Church.
She is survived by her son, David Vaughn, of Russellville.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Charlie and Omedell Strickland.
