Eva Imogene Cushing, 75, of Russellville, passed away on May 20, 2008, at her residence.
Visitation will be held from 1 to 2 p.m. today at Spry Memorial Chapel with the funeral following at 2 p.m. with Bro. Bobby Brown officiating.
Burial will be in Oak Grove Cemetery in Phil Campbell.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Riley and Dovie Bryant; daughter, Patricia Williams; grandsons, Shane Sizemore and Shay Ford, and several brothers and sisters.
She is survived by her daughter, Kathy Hall (Harold Hamilton); brother, James Matthews; sisters, Victoria Smith and Irene Lanney; grandchildren, Shanna Baker, Clint (Tina) Hall, Shawnda Ford; great-grandchildren, Taylor Baker, Summer Hall, Austin Curry, Christopher Ford, Kelly Sizemore and Trey Sizemore; and a host of nieces and nephews.

Vernell Stidham, 78, of Hoover, died May 18, 2008, at UAB-West in Bessemer.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. today at Akins Funeral Home with Bro. Steve Lawrence officiating. Burial will be in Cedar Tree Cemetery in Hackleburg.
Pallbearers will be Jason Smith, Bill Helms, Tucker Helms, Billy Cochran, Mike Grissom and Mike Noe.
She was preceded in death by her husband, John Wesley Stidham; parents, Archie and Myrtle Grissom Lawler; brother, Archie Lawler, Jr.
She is survived by daughters, Carol Jan Stidham and husband, Jason Andrew Smith, of Hoover, and Penny Stidham and husband, Bill, of Motgomery; grandchildren, Leslie Ann Helms, Graham Allen Helms and Tucker Jackson Helms.
William Lindsey

William Monroe Lindsey, 64, died Sunday, May 18, 2008, at Red Bay Hospital. He was born April 13, 1944, in Itawamba County, Miss., to Monroe and Bertie Fuller Lindsey. He was a truck mechanic for 43 years. He was mayor, deputy, chief of police, noise control and weatherman for Lindsey Drive and a 911 enthusiast.
Funeral services were held Tuesday, May 20, 2008, at Deaton Funeral Home. Burial was in the Ridge Cemetery in Golden, Miss.
Mr. Lindsey is survived by his best friend and companion , Marie Fowler of Golden; daughters, Belinda Kay Kimmins (Bill) of Golden and Angela Lewis (Chuck) of Gashonia, N.C.; brother, Leamon Ray Lindsey; sisters, Willodean Engle, Geraldine Patterson, Sandra Bridges, and Brenda Miller; grandchildren, Derek Jackson, Brittany Inman, Lauren Hope Jackson, Tyler Lewis, Brandon Lewis and Dylan Lewis; great-grandchilden, Kameron Alexander Jackson and MaKaylie Brooke Jackson; nine nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents and brother, Billy Lee Lindsey.
Pallbears for the service included Danny Chesnutt, Scott Guyton, Casey Wigginton, Chuck Lewis, Derek Jackson and Tyler Lewis.
Deaton Funeral Home of Red Bay assisted the family.
