Bradford working hard for county

By Staff
The annual Watermelon Festival is quickly approaching.
As it does, more and more work is involved for festival planners, organizers, vendors, chamber of commerce members and organizations throughout the county.
The festival is under new leadership this year as Chamber of Commerce Executive Director Cheryl Bradford takes the reigns for the first time.
In her short time in that position, Bradford has clearly shown a vision and passion for this county.
She has many changes in store for the festival this year and hopes to add more in the future.
Her passion for promoting Franklin County serves her well as chamber director.
Now, it's time for the community to rally around her and offer support as she puts Franklin County on its biggest stage.
There is still plenty of work to be done to make this festival as successful as some in years past, but there is no reason to believe that won't happen.
Let's all make this the best festival ever.
