George Barry Ebe, 53, of Russellville, Ala., passed away Sunday, Nov. 30, 2008, at Russellville Hospital.
Funeral services were held Thursday, Dec. 4 at Spry Memorial Chapel in Russellville.
He is survived by his daughter, Amanda R. Ebe and fianc/e Jeremy Presley; son, Christopher King and wife Laura; sisters, Karen Sikes, Kelly King, Giana King and Susan Cazzazza; brothers, David Ebe, Maurice King and Peter King; mother, Juanita Echelbarger; grandchildren, Aubrey Vandiver, Allison Vandiver and Sydney King; and nieces and nephews, Dana Rants, Tia Abbot, Scott Abbot, Charly Crumpton, Whitney Hall, Clint Hall and Dixon King.
He was a loving daddy and son and a wonderful brother. The family would like to extend a special thank you to the Russellville Hospital Emergency Room staff and Pleasant Bay Ambulance Service.

Billy Morris Glenn, Sr.

Billy Morris Glenn, Sr., 75, born December 26, 1932, passed away Dec. 3, 2008, at Grove Hill Memorial Hospital in Grove Hill, Ala. He was a member of the Grove Hill Masonic Lodge and of the Baptist Faith. He was a US Army veteran of the Korean Conflict and retired with the Alabama National Guard with almost 30 years of total service to his country. He was also retired from the Alabama Department of Transportation in Grove Hill.
Funeral services will be held Saturday, Dec. 6, at Pinkard Funeral Home Chapel, in Haleyville at 11 a.m. with Rev. Jason Thorn officiating. Visitation will be from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m., Friday, Dec. 5. Interment will be in Winston Memorial Cemetery with Military Honors.
He is survived by his wife, Wanda Faye Glenn, of Grove Hill; son, Billy Morris Glenn, Jr., of Saraland, Ala.; daughters, Patricia Carol Jones, of Butler, Ala. and Teresa Ann Harrell, of Grove Hill, Ala.; sisters, Betty Glenn Benford and Carolyn Glenn Wilford, both of Haleyville, Ala.; nine grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his son, Scottie Glenn; brothers, Vernon Glenn, Horace Glenn and wife, Debbie, and Cecil Glenn.
Myrtle Hyatt Winsted

Myrtle Hyatt Winsted, 93, of Russellville, Ala., passed away on Wednesday, Dec. 3, 2008, at her residence. She was born on August 19, 1915 to George and Mayme Brown.
Funeral services will be Sunday, Dec. 7, at Bay Lake Missionary Baptist Church in Groveland, Fla. Burial will be in Bay Lake Cemetery with Bro. Ed Brown and Bro. Darrell Sheeley officiating.
She was preceded in death by her husbands, John Ennis Hyatt, Hubert Gaffney, and Jeff Winsted; brother, Robert Brown; and granddaughter, Audrey Hyatt.
She is survived by her daughter, Mary Frances Parris, and husband, Grady, of Russellville; son, Derwood Hyatt and wife, Betty, of Groveland, Fla.; six grandchildren; eighteen great-grandchildren; five great-great-grandchildren; brother, Devon Brown; sister, Lois McGuire; and numerous in-laws, nieces, nephews and a host of friends.
She was a member of Frankfort Missionary Baptist Church in Russellville. She was a former long time member of Bay Lake Missionary Baptist Church in Groveland, Fla.
Spry Memorial Chapel assisted the family.
Vivian Louise Kimbrough

Vivian Louise Kimbrough, 78, of Russellville, Ala., passed away on Wednesday, Dec. 3, 2008, at Helen Keller Hospital.
Funeral services will be at 2 p.m., Saturday, Dec. 6, 2008 at Spry Memorial Chapel with Bro. Charlie James officiating. Burial will be in Franklin Memory Gardens.
She was preceded in death by her two grandchildren, Heather Bragwell and Timmy Kimbrough, Jr.; parents, George W. and Mary E. Winstead; and brother, George D. Winstead.
She is survived by her husband, James E. Kimbrough; daughter, Janette Bragwell and husband, Royce, of Decatur, Ala.; two sons, John E. Kimbrough and wife, Shara, and Timmy W. Kimbrough and wife, Amanda, all of Russellville; nine grandchildren, Michelle Freeman, Suzanna Haggermaker, Paige Kimbrough, all of Decatur, Ala., Lisa Kimbrough Hill and husband, Gene, Brooke Kimbrough, Nicole Kimbrough, all of Russellville, Brian Kimbrough and wife, Keesha, Amy Kimbrough, all of Muscle Shoals, Ala., Tiffiney Kimbrough, of N.C.; seven great-grandchildren, Heath Freeman, Hannah Hogan, Destinee Bragwell, Kirstin Haggermaker, all of Decatur, Madison Kimbrough, of Russellville, Brooklyn Kimbrough and Braylen Kimbrough, of Muscle Shoals; five sisters, Lois Burn, of Ariz., Jean Pounders and husband, Joe, JoNell Wilson, Judy West, all of Russellville, Jerline Bolton and husband, Wayne, of Red Bay, Ala.; sister-in-law, Matha Winstead, of Russellville; a host of nieces, nephews, and friends.
Pallbearers will be Steve Pounders, Alan Wilson, Allen Winstead, Jimmy Rowe, Tommy Mashburn, Barry Winstead and Phillip Kimbrough. Honorary pallbearers will be Teddy Wilson, Danny Winstead, Ricky Kimbrough and Jody Beard.
She was a member of the Baptist Church. She devoted her life to God and her family.
Thomas W. Long

Thomas Walter "Tommy" Long, 45, of Russellville, Ala., died Thursday, December 4, 2008.
He was a lifelong resident of Russellville and a member of Tharptown Baptist Church. He had worked as a welder for over 25 years and was a former member of the Alabama National Guard. He was a loving father who adored Tyler. Next to his family, he loved music.
The graveside service will be Saturday, Dec. 6 at 11 a.m. at Franklin Memory Gardens in Russellville. Officiating will be Eddie Wix. The family will receive friends from 10 a.m. to 11 a.m. at the Franklin Memory Mausoleum.
He is survived by his parents, Thomas Walter and Brenda Adelia Aycock Long of Russellville; son, Tyler Kane Long of Russellville; sister, Stacia Ann Long Vandiver and husband Carl Leighton; niece, Kaitlyn Nicole Vandiver of Leighton; three aunts; seven first cousins; and a host of friends.
Pallbearers will be William Smith, Bill Smith, John David Aycock, Carl Vandiver, Chris Pickett and Jimmy Martin.
He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Walter L. "Shorty" and Cecil Long and Billy and Lillian Aycock; and special uncle, David L. Aycock.
Flowers will be accepted, and memorials may also be made to St. Jude's Children's Hospital.
Pinkard Funeral Home in Russellville assisted the family.
