Serve your community by applying for a board

By Staff
Serving our communities is important to those who live here in Franklin County.
There are many different ways of serving. Citizens can join a civic organization, participate in a local toy drive or volunteer at the local mission.
But there is also another way to serve the community – by serving on one of the city's municipal boards.
The Russellville City Council is currently taking applications and resumes for a variety of board appointments.
While serving on a local board can be time-consuming, it can also be beneficial. Some of the most important decisions in local government begin with these boards. Therefore, their importance should not be overlooked.
We hope that everyone will check the list of open board positions at city hall and discover if there is something you can do on one of these boards because serving on them can help better our community.
