Reward offered for burglary suspects

The Franklin County Sheriff's Department is offering an award for information leading to the arrest of the person or persons who are responsible for a theft at a county store.
Franklin County Sheriff Larry Plott said Stidham's Feed and Seed, located on Highway 43 north of Russellville, was burglarized sometime between 6 p.m. Wednesday and 6 a.m. Thursday.
"Someone gained entry into a metal building at the store," Plott said. "And an assortment of items were taken from the store."
Items taken include numerous pairs of hunting boots, Carhardt clothing for adults and children along with hunting supplies such as crossbows.
"There were a bunch of boots taken from the store," Plott said. "Too many pair to count."
Plott said special order items that were ordered for customers for Christmas gifts were also taken from the store.
The amount of the reward is not being disclosed but Plott said investigators are looking for anyone with any information in this case.
"I encourage anyone with any information on this burglary to contact our office or any law enforcement agency," Plott said.
