James Carlton Demonia, 38, passed away Tuesday, Jan. 27, 2009, at Red Bay Hospital.
He was born March 30, 1970, in Rome, Ga., to Willis "Wormy" and Mildred White Demonia. He was an employee of Sunshine Mills and a member of Unity Baptist Church in Silver Creek, Ga.
Funeral services were Thursday, Jan. 29 at Deaton Funeral Home in Red Bay with Bro. Mark McCraney officiating. Burial was in Red Bay City Cemetery.
He is survived by his wife, Kristi Harris Demonia of Red Bay; sisters, Tammy Thompson and husband Dan of Rome, Ga., and Darlene Vaughn and husband Timmon of Silver, Creek, Ga.; brother, David Demonia and wife Carolyn of Lindale, Ga.; father, Willis "Wormy" Demonia of Silver Creek, Ga.; father-in-law and mother-in-law, Jimmie and Vicki Oliver of Golden, Miss.; and grandparents-in-law, Dorvan and Bertha Gober of Red Bay and Geneva Oliver of Golden, Miss.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Mildred Demonia.
Pallbearers were Jeff Wilemon, Robert Gober, Dan Thompson, Timmon Vaughn, David Demonia and Greg Hartman.
Orville H. Williams

Orville Houston Williams, 96, of Phil Campbell, Ala., passed away Friday, Jan. 30, 2009, at his residence.
He was a loving husband, father and grandfather. He was a retired carpenter from TVA out of the Local 1209 in Florence. He was also a part-time Past Master at Phil Campbell Masonic Lodge 880 and a World War II veteran.
The visitation will be from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. at Spry Memorial Chapel in Russellville Saturday, Jan. 31. The funeral service will be 2 p.m. Sunday, Feb. 1 at the chapel with Bro. Billy Cornelius officiating. Interment will be at O.H. and Dorothy Williams Family Cemetery in Phil Campbell.
The pallbearers will be members of the Phil Campbell and Spruce Pine Masonic Lodge.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Dorothy Marie Williams; parents, Berry Anderson and Chesteeny Williams; and two brothers and four sisters.
He is survived by his daughter, Sheila Hall and husband Robert; sons, Greg Williams Sr., Doug Williams and wife Lisa and Donald Williams and wife Carolyn; 13 grandchildren; three step-grandchildren; 10 great-great-grandchildren; sister, Jaunita Hutcheson; and a host of nieces and nephews.
The family would like to extend special thanks to the staff of Good Samaritan Hospice.

Mary Ezelle Waters Cross, 80, Russellville, Ala., passed away Thursday, January 29, 2009 at her residence.
She was a native of Wedowee, but had lived in Russellville for the past 40 years. She was a member of First Baptist Church in Russellville. She was a business owner and operator of The Chic Boutique for 19 years.
The funeral service will be 2 p.m. Sunday, Feb. 1 at Pinkard Funeral Home in Russellville with Rev. Richard Parker and Rev. Bert Fowler officiating. Burial will follow in Franklin Memory Gardens.
She is survived by her children, Teresa Olive and husband Mark Olive, Patty Stowe and husband Richard and Cathy Payne and husband John, all of Russellville; sisters, Winnie Mae Brown of Woodland and Estelle Haynes of Oxford; brother, Therman Waters of Jacksonville; grandchildren, Jacob Payne and wife Toni, of Cullman, Jeremy and wife Cheryl Stowe of Russellville, Anthony Olive and wife Ellen of Birmingham, Whitney Olive of Birmingham; and great-grandchildren, Kobe Payne of Cullman and Ayla Stowe of Russellville.
Pallbearers will be Jacob Payne, Jeremy Stowe, Anthony Olive, A. W. Hargett III, Bobby Terrell and Kevin Dawson.
She was preceded in death by husband, James "Buck" Cross; sister, Ira Belle Capps; and several half-brothers and sisters.
