Country music singer Ronnie McDowell will make a return appearance to the Roxy Theater this spring.
Fan club president Wanda Myrick said the concert will be held on Saturday, May 16 at 7 p.m. Tickets will go on sale March 9.
"Last year, Ronnie came and the show was sold out," Myrick said. "We had enough interest to have a second show. We expect the same kind of turn out this year."
Myrick said it's going to be the same show as last year with Millie Kirkham, D.J. Fontana, and The Jordanaires along with McDowell.
"It was just a historic show," Myrick said. "The Jordanaires and Ms. Kirkham are retired, but they've agreed to come back this year."
The Jordanaires, Kirkham and Fontana are famous for their work with Elvis Presley.
Ticket prices will range from $15 for general admission upstairs to $30 reserved seats.
"There isn't a bad seat in the Roxy Theater because of the way the floor raises," Myrick said. "Every seat is a good seat."
All the proceeds from the show will go to the ongoing renovations of the Roxy Theater.
"We've got several projects going on for the renovations of the Roxy," Myrick said. "This is a fundraiser for the renovations."
This is the 20th year Ronnie McDowell has made an appearance at the historic Roxy Theater in Russellville.
