Barbara Gail Duncan Withers, 45, of Russellville, passed away Tuesday, April 14, 2009 at Russellville Hospital.
Funeral services were held Friday, April 17, 2009 at Spry Memorial Chapel with Bro. Woodrow Taylor officiating. Interment was in Belgreen Cemetery.
She was preceded in death by her grandparents; father, Billy "Rod" Duncan; and infant sister, Tracy Duncan.
She is survived by her daughter, Julie Kay Rea; mother, Ruby Nell Duncan; sister, Charlotte Kay Honey; nephew, Daniel Honey; and brother-in-law, James Honey.
The pallbearers will be Aaron Welch, Shannon Welch, Trent Edward, Jessie Edwards, Zac Black and Jacob Black. The honorary pallbearers will be Lonnie Gann and Eddie Nichols.
She was a good mother and daughter and will be missed by all.
Charles Franklin Carruth

Charles Franklin Carruth, 89, of Haleyville, passed away Monday, April 13, 2009. He served in the United States Army during WWII. He was a retired Brakeman with the Illinois Central Railroad and a member of the First Baptist Church in Haleyville.
Funeral services were held Thursday, April 16, 2009 at Pinkard Funeral Home Chapel in Haleyville with Dr. Jim Cooley and Duke Martin officiating. Burial was in Winston Memorial Cemetery.
He is survived by his wife, Joyce Carruth; sisters, Carolyn Engle, Dean Morrow and husband, Donald, all of Haleyville; and a host of relatives and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents; Edgar and Betty Carruth; siblings, Thelma Hagwood, Holmes Carruth, James Carruth, Donald Carruth, Hazel Carruth, Cecil Murner and D.H. Caruth.
Jack Fisher

Jack Fisher, 73, of Nolensville, Tenn., formerly of Hamilton, passed away Monday, April 13, 2009 at Vanderbilt Hospital in Nashville, Tenn.
He is survived by his wife of 54 years, Jo Ann; three children, Gail, Angelita and Mark; four grandchildren, Christine, Daniel, Andrea and Amber; and two great-grandchildren, Jacob and Calla.
He was retired from the United States Air Force and the State of Alabama where he worked with the Hamilton Housing Authority.
He was a member of Hamilton Church of Christ and a 50 year member of the Masonic Lodge.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m., Saturday, April 18 at the Hamilton Church of Christ. Burial with full Masonic and Military honors will be at the Love Joy Cemetery in Hamilton.
