Hutchins, Mitchell to wed

 

Cindy Whitfield Hutchins of Russellville and Joe Hutchins of Muscle Shoals are pleased to announce the engagement and forthcoming marriage of their daughter, Rachel Whitfield Hutchins, to Scott Edward Mitchell, son of Tim and Suzanne Mitchell of Douglasville, Ga., and Kelley Mitchell and Mitchell Dailey of Montgomery.

Cindy Whitfield Hutchins of Russellville and Joe Hutchins of Muscle Shoals are pleased to announce the engagement and forthcoming marriage of their daughter, Rachel Whitfield Hutchins, to Scott Edward Mitchell, son of Tim and Suzanne Mitchell of Douglasville, Ga., and Kelley Mitchell and Mitchell Dailey of Montgomery.

The bride-elect is the granddaughter of James Whitfield and the late Bonnie Whitfield; Grover and Jeanette Hutchins, all of Russellville. She is a graduate of Russellville High School and a graduate of the University of Alabama with Bachelor’s degree in science of nursing. She is employed as a registered  nurse at UAB Hospital in Birmingham.

The prospective groom is the grandson of the late James Mann of Montgomery, the late Howard and Hazel Mann of Montgomery; the late George and Evelyn Mitchell of Atlanta, Ga. He is a graduate of Stanhope Elmore High School in Montgomery, and currently a student at Troy University. He is employed by Alabama Power in  Birmingham.

The wedding will be an event of June 19, 2010, at the Robert Trent Jones Golf Course in Muscle Shoals at 7 p.m.

After a honeymoon trip to St. Lucia, the couple will reside in Birmingham.
