Walter Wesley Brewer, 32, of Red Bay passed away Sunday, Aug. 1, 2010 at Union County Regional Hospital in New Albany, Miss.  He was born April 21, 1978 in Tupelo, Miss.  He was a tankerman for Jaco’s Tankerman Service.  He was a member of Tremont First Baptist Church.

Funeral services will be at 4 p.m. on Wednesday, Aug. 4, at Deaton Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Lymann Rea officiating.  Burial will be in Hillcrest Memorial Gardens in Red Bay.

He is survived by one daughter, Harlee Alexia Brewer, of Red Bay; his partner, Cristy Olivia Gorum, of Red Bay; mother, Sharon Attaway, of Red Bay; fathers, Jerry Brewer, of Huntsville and Mike Scott, of Vina; four brothers, Blaine Alan Brewer and Lil Josh Scott, both of Red Bay, Joey McCalpin, of Texas, and Austin Scott, of Vina; one sister, Megan Scott, of Vina; and grandmothers, Fonza “Big Ma” Brewer, of Arcadia, Fla. and Lillie Mae Scott, of Red Bay.

He was preceded in death by his grandparents, William Gilbert Wesley, Mary Anne Childers, Samuel Brewer and Med Scott.

Pallbearers will be Sharmon Self, Jason Davis, Mickey Brown, Brian Upton, Don Thompson, Wayde Hutcheson, Jerry Self and Josh Scott.  Honorary pallbearers will be Joey Hugh McCalpin, Michael Nichols and Jarod Scott.
