Arnold Ralph Kiser, 74, of Phil Campbell, passed away Wednesday, August 18, 2010 at home after an extended illness.  He was born in Town Creek but lived most of his life in Franklin County.  He worked at Reynolds Aluminum for 35 years prior to retiring.  He was a member and deacon of Oak Grove Missionary Baptist Church in Russellville.

Funeral services were held Friday, Aug. 20, 2010, at 1 p.m. at Oak Grove Missionary Baptist Church with Bro. Carl James officiating.  Burial followed in church cemetery. 

He is survived by his wife, Artie Vee Kiser, of Phil Campbell; sons, Kevin Kiser and wife, Angie, of Foley, Ala., Kelly Kiser and wife, Leigh Ann, of Haleyville; step-children, Dwight Rice and wife, Shirley, of Phil Campbell, Phyllis Quillen and husband,  John, of Phil Campbell, Doug Rice, of Montgomery, Ala.; brothers, Jesse Kiser and wife, Sybil, of Town Creek, Leroy Kiser and wife, Eloise, of Hatton; sister, Mary Posey and husband, Aaron, of Phil Campbell; sisters and brothers-in-law, Bill and Nelda Moss, of Phil Campbell, Gathel and Bonnie Wynn, of Auburn,  Robbie and Dewey Wise, of Mississippi; grandchildren, Sydney Kiser, Conner Kiser, Payton Kiser, Taylor Henn; several nieces and nephews.

Pallbearers were Jon Garrard, Bart Moss, Kyle Rushing, Brady Sherrill, Joel Sherrill and Judson Sherrill.

He was preceded in death by his wife of 45 years and mother of his children, Dula Rae Kiser; parents, Robert and Ida Kiser; brother, Robert Kiser; sisters Lucille Poole, Margaret Fleming and Opal McGregor.
