William “Dee” Morgan

William “Dee” Morgan, 75, of Tuscumbia, Ala. passed away Tuesday, Aug. 31, 2010 at Huntsville Hospital.

Mr. Morgan was a native of Franklin County and member of the Church of Christ.  He served in the Army during Korea and was retired from Reynolds Metals Company with over 25 years of service.

Funeral service will be Saturday, Sept. 4, 2010 at 11 a.m. at Pinkard Funeral Home in Russellville with Coy Morgan and James Bohannon Jr. officiating.  Burial will follow in Franklin Memory Gardens. 

He is survived by his wife, Linda Jones Morgan, of Tuscumbia, Ala.; sons, Timothy Dee Morgan and wife, Sharon, of Huntsville, Ala., Todd Kerry Morgan, of Scottsdale, Ariz.; two step-sons; one step-daughter; sister, Reba Dean Glasgow and husband, Robert, Jr., of Muscle Shoals; grandchildren, Benjamin Dee Morgan, Sara Denise Morgan, Christopher Dee Morgan, all of Huntsville, Taylor Andrew Morgan, Katie Elizabeth Morgan, both of Scottsdale, Ariz.; one special niece, Teresa Churchwell Malone, of  Russellville; several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his first wife and the mother of his children, Martha Jackson Morgan; parents, Franklin Robert and Mamie Mae Morgan; brothers, Royce Morgan, Opha Morgan; sister, Clona Mae Smith.
