Jesse Anthony Davis, 29, Russellville, Ala. passed away on Sunday, Sept. 19, 2010. 

Funeral services were held Tuesday, Sept. 21, 2010 at Akins Funeral Home with Bro. Eugene Digby officiating. Interment was in Dempsey Cemetery.

Pallbearers were Tray Jones, David Jones, Brannon Jones, Travis Whitaker, Matt Thompson, Jamie Davis, Kevin Tesseneer, and Derrick Tesseneer.  Honorary pallbearer was Jacoby Butler.

He was preceded in death by his step-father, Earl Butler; grandfather, Velon Hacker; grandmother, Mertie Davis.

He is survived by his mother, Donna Hacker Butler; adopted father, Steve Davis; father, Mike Brown; grandmother, Betty Ruth Hacker; grandparents, Gene and Ida Brown; brother, Jamie Stephen Davis; step-brother, Jacoby Butler; several aunts, uncles, and cousins.

He was a member of James Chapel Missionary Baptist Church.
