Hettie Lee Johnson, 92, of Phil Campbell, passed away Friday, October 8, 2010 at Burns Nursing Home.

The visitation will be from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. on Saturday, Oct. 9, 2010 at Akins Funeral Home.  The body will lie-in-state one hour prior to the 2 p.m. funeral service Sunday, Oct. 10, 2010 at Gray Rock Methodist Church with Bro. Curtis Taylor officiating.  Interment will be in the Gray Rock Cemetery.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Manuly R. Johnson; father, B.M. Murphree; mother, Leona Woodall Murphree; and siblings, Etta Murphree Latham, Ruben Murphree and Luther Murphree.

The family would like to thank the staff at Burns Nursing Home.
