Evonne Creekmore Singleton Sartain, 79, of Red Bay, died Friday, October 21, 2011 at her residence.  She worked at Blue Bell and was a member of Hurricane Creek Missionary Baptist Church.
Funeral services were held Monday, October 24, 2011 at Deaton Funeral Home Chapel, Red Bay, Ala. with Bro. Bobby Massey and Bro. J.C. Hand officiating. Burial was in Ebenezer Cemetery.  
She is survived by her husband, Carles Sartain, of Red Bay; four daughters, Carolyn Scott and husband, Steve, of Tuscumbia, Ala., Karen Smith, of Cleburne, Texas, Sharon Stacy and husband, B.D., of Red Bay and Tammy Cook and husband, Ronnie, of Belmont; three step-children, Danny Sartain and wife, Linda, of Mountain View, Ark, Rodney Sartain, of Fulton, Miss., Rhonda Sartain, of Amory, Miss.; fifteen grandchildren, Stephanie Miss Kelly, Brent Scott, Bryan Smith, Tiffany Smith, Jon Stacy, Corey Davis, Brittany Davis, Colby Cook, Dalton Sartain, Alexis Sartain, Laura Sulek, Timothy Sartain, Autumn Sartain, Tia Sartain, and Brandon Sartain; seven great-grandchildren, Colten Cochran, Paylen Scott, Mason Smith, Wren Smith, Koel Smith, Brycen Davis and Chance Cook; three sisters, Bobbie Petty, Elsie Singleton, Icy Parker; three brothers, Carlos Creekmore, Larry Creekmore and Danny Creekmore.
She was preceded in death by her first husband, William “Bill” Singleton; son-in-law, Roger Smith; three brothers, Thurman, Belt and Bud Creekmore; one sister, Betty Sue Stanphill; and her parents, Elvin Lesley and Beatrice Holland Creekmore.
Pallbearers were Brent Scott, Bryan Smith, Corey Davis, Colby Cook, Jon Stacy, Dalton Sartain, and Josh Dobbs.
