E. Lavelle Hardin, 79, passed away at her home in the LaGrange community of Colbert County on Thursday, April 26, 2012.

She was a beloved mother and grandmother that will be greatly missed.  She enjoyed cooking, gardening and working jig saw puzzles.

She is survived by her two sons, Gary H. Hardin and wife, Renee, of LaGrange, Phillip G. Hardin and wife, Donna, of Spruce Pine; grandchildren, Kristi Rose and husband, Ronnie, Scott Hardin, Jamie Hardin and wife, Jill, Kellie Loyd and husband, Mike, Hannah Hardin; great-grandchildren, Justin Rose, Brittney Rose, Bailey Rose, Hailey Hardin, Isabella Loyd, William Loyd, Sylas Hardin; three brothers and one sister that reside near Boise, Idaho.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Robert Lee and Nettie Parrish Davis; two brothers, and two sisters.

Graveside services will be held at 2 p.m. Sunday, April 29, 2012, at Franklin Memory Gardens.  Officiating will be Bro. Danny Winningham.

A special thanks to Amedisys Hospice Care and especially Jennifer Swier for the love and care shown towards the family.
