L.D. Raper, 74, Russellville, passed away Monday, May 14, 2012, at ECM Hospital.

The visitation will be from 12 – 2 p.m. Thursday, May 17, 2012, at Spry Memorial Chapel. The funeral will follow at 2 p.m. in the chapel.  Officiating at the service will be Bro. Tim Haney. Burial will follow at Franklin Memory Gardens.

He is survived by his daughters, Judy Timmons and husband, Milton, Brenda Glasgow and husband, Jr., Linda Lindsey and husband, Randy; son, Steve Raper; grandchildren, Josh Timmons, Brad Lindsey, Amber Crompton, Nick Raper, Eric Glasgow, Rick Lindsey, Lesley Glasgow, David Raper; great-grandchildren, Taylor Lindsey, Raygen Glasgow; brother, R.B. Raper; sisters, Ruthie Spence, Eslei May Honey, Eva Venutie, Lou Dixon, Sue Swinney; and a host of nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by parents, W.T. and Annie May Raper; brother, Arnold Raper; and granddaughter, Mandy Timmons.

The pallbearers will be his grandsons.
