Peggy Sue Fugate, 65, of Phil Campbell, passed away Thursday, July 26, 2012, at Russellville Hospital.

Mrs. Fugate was a lifelong resident of Franklin County and attended the Baptist church.

The funeral service will be Sunday, July 29, 2012, at 2 p.m., at Pinkard Funeral Home Chapel, Russellville, with burial in Old Line Cemetery, Hodges. Officiating will be Brian Scott and Mikey Scott. The family will receive friends Saturday, July 28, 2012, from 5 to 8 p.m. at the funeral home.

Survivors include husband, Sewell Fugate; children, Ricky Fugate and wife, Susan, and Donnie Ray Fugate and wife, Robin, both of Phil Campbell; sister, Glenda Malinowski, Phil Campbell; brothers, Virgil Scott  and wife, Barbara, and Paul “Shorty” Scott and wife, Judy, both of Spruce Pine; grandchildren, Lee Fugate and wife, Amber, Jennifer Fretwell and husband, Billy, Michael Fugate, Trent Fugate, Nikki Murray and husband, Matt, Eric Fugate; great-grandchildren, Anna Fugate, Hunter Baker, Noah Fretwell, Raygen Glasgow, Konner Fugate, Kylee Fugate, Emoree Murray; several nieces and nephews.

Pallbearers will be Lee Fugate, Michael Fugate, Trent Fugate, Eric Fugate, Billy Fretwell and Matt Murray.

She was preceded in death by parents, Haston and Bertie Scott; son, Michael Lee Fugate.
