Maysen Raye Smith

Maysen Raye Smith, infant daughter of Katye Sullivan and Jeffery Smith, passed away Wednesday, Aug. 15, 2012, at UAB Hospital.

Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 18, 2012, at Spry Memorial Chapel.  Officiating at the service will be Dr. Jeff Eddie. Burial will follow at Franklin Memory Gardens.

In addition to being survived by her parents, Maysen is survived by her brother, Jackson Smith, grandparents, Julia Sullivan, Harry Sullivan, Janice and Charlie Daniels, Dannie Smith; great-grandmothers, Joyce Fleming, Lorene Sullivan, Lenice Smith; aunts and uncles, Daniel Sullivan and wife, Rebecca, Anna Sullivan, Stephanie Gandy and husband, Steve; and a host of cousins, friends, and loved ones.

She was preceded in death by great-grandfathers, Jimmy Fleming and Harold Sullivan; great-great-grandparents, Katherine and Jodie Willis, Roy and Mattie Fleming, Thomas Smith, and Dorothy Burleson.

The family would like to extend a special thanks to the doctors, nurses, and staff of the Women’s and Infants Unit and the Cardiac Intensive Care Unit at UAB Hospital, and Dr. Stephen Keith for their love and care of our sweet little angel.
