Ray C. (R.C.) Godsey, 72, of Russellville, passed away Wednesday, Aug. 15, 2012, at ECM Hospital.
Mr. Godsey was a native of Winston County, but had lived in Russellville for the past 45 years. He was retired from Spiral Mobile Home Industries.
A graveside funeral service was held at Franklin Memory Gardens on Friday, Aug. 17, 2012.
Survivors include wife, Judy Godsey, Russellville; children, Midge Mansell and husband, Randy, Scott Godsey and wife, Susan, both of Russellville, and Lee Johnson and husband, Joey, of Homewood; sisters, Geraldine Cagle and Helen Cagle, both of Haleyville, 12 grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Henry and Roxie Godsey; and the mother of his children, Marie Godsey.
