Hugh D. Cofield, 72, Phil Campbell, passed away Friday, Nov. 16, 2012 at his residence.

Funeral services were Monday, Nov. 19, 2012, at Spry Memorial Chapel with Bro. Sammy Taylor officiating. Burial was in Shady Grove Cemetery, Phil Campbell.

He is survived by his wife of 51 years, Verna Joyce Cofield; children, Donna Cantrell and husband, Greg, Rosemary Bell and husband, Tim, Kimbarly Farley and husband, Paul, Hugh Don Cofield and wife, Christy; grandchildren, Christopher, Andrew, Monica, Matthew, Jerrid, Brandie, Sarah, Shaey; great-grandchildren, Skylar, Hayden, Aubrey, Kendra, Alyssa, Hunter; brother, Price Cofield and wife, Julie; and several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents, William Edison and Grithe Cofield; great-grandchild, Breanna, and brother, Tommy Cofield.
