Roger Dale Welch, “The Ice Cream Man,” 59, of Russellville, passed away Thursday, Nov. 29, 2012, at Russellville Hospital.

Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Saturday, Dec. 1, 2012, at Spry Memorial Chapel.   Burial will be in Belgreen Cemetery.

He is survived by his son, Shannon Welch and wife, Christy, daughter Angela Hart and husband, Larry; grandchildren, Jasmine Tharpe, Brianna Welch, Shane Welch, Tanner Hart, Douglas Rainwater; mother, Becky Clark Welch; siblings, Roy Welch and wife, Kay, Helen Nichols and husband, Eddie, Julie Black, Gail Edwards and husband, Bobby Ray; and a host of nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by wife, Betty Jean Nichols Welch and father, Urshel Welch.
