Daniel B. Wilson, 82, Russellville, passed away Thursday, Jan. 17, 2013, at his residence.
The visitation will be 11 a.m. – 1 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 19, 2013, at Spry Memorial Chapel. The funeral will follow at 1 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 19, 2013, in the chapel. Officiating at the service will be Bro. John Barton and Bro. Edward LouAllen. Burial will be at Knights of Pythias Cemetery.
He is survived by his wife, Maylene Flanagan Wilson; children, Judy Jones, Jennifer Garrison and husband, Joe; grandchildren, Amanda Reese James and husband, Norman, Amy Beard and husband, Daniel, Annabelle Grace Garrison; great-grandchildren, Matthew Dyer, Brian Dyer, Grace Beard; and a host of nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Herman and Bessie Mae Wilson; sister, Mildred Wilson; and brothers, Billy Wilson and Bobby Wilson.
The pallbearers will be Randy Wilson, Benny Wilson, Steve Flannagan, Norman Oliver, Willard Mayfield and Greg Flanagan.
The family would like to extend a special thanks to Dr. John Almirol and staff, Hospice of North Alabama, and a special thanks to the nurses, Candace Cooper and Michelle Williams for your love and care.
