Lloyd Cecil Raper, 73, Russellville, passed away Tuesday, Feb. 26, 2013, at Huntsville Hospital.

He lived his life in Franklin County and was a member of Edgar Chapel Baptist Church.  He was married to the love of his life, Judy, for over 50 years. He retired from BellSouth after 32 years of service. He was a loving and wonderful husband, father, papa, brother and friend.

Funeral services were Friday, March 1, 2013, at Pinkard Funeral Home, Russellville, with Dennis Steward officiating. Burial was in Franklin Memory Gardens.

Survivors include his wife, Judy Seal Raper; daughters, Pam Raper, Emily Raper, Lori Porter and husband, Larry; grandson, Larry “Dale” Porter, Jr., all of Russellville; brothers, Terry Raper, Phil Campbell, Randy Raper and wife, Rena, Stillwater, Okla.; sister, Frances Eure, Lithonia, Ga.; special brothers-in-law, John Seal and wife, June, and Jerry Seal and wife, Gwen, Russellville; several nieces, nephews and his BellSouth family.

Pallbearers were Kevin Hargett, Aubry Harris, Raymond Horton, Kenny James, Jimmy Montgomery, J. R. Miller, Jerry O’Rear, Jeremy Seal, Larry Porter and Dan Terry.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Marshall and Myrtle Raper; also stepmother, Beatrice Raper.
