Carl W. Russell, 71, of Little Rock, Ark., passed away March 9, 2013.

He was born in Russellville to the late Floyd and Missouri Taylor Russell. He was a member of Thousand Hills Baptist Church of Little Rock. He was in the insurance business for over 40 years. He was married to Barbara Gullett Russell for over 51 years.

Carl is survived by his wife Barbara Gullett Russell; a daughter Sharon Russell Nash, and husband Ryan, of Little Rock Ark.; two grandsons, Kevin Flannagin and wife, Sandy (Kelso) Flannagin, and Jason Nash, all of Little Rock; three great-grandchildren, Grace, Ben and Teddy Flannagin, one brother, James Russell, of Russellville, two sisters, Margaret Wiles and Martha Vandiver, both of Russellville, as well many nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents and his brother, Adrian Russell.
