Russel “Sunny” Orval Hutton, Jr., 71, Phil Campbell, passed away Wednesday, July 24, 2013, at his residence.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Russell Orval Hutton, Sr. and Phyllis Fornwald Hutton; siblings, Gloria Hutton, Clorissa Hutton, Charles Hutton, Richardson Hutton, Steve Hutton, Cindy Hutton, Timothy Hutton.

He is survived by his wife, Theresa Marie Hutton; children, Brett Hutton, Gary Hutton, Samantha Sabina and husband, Julian, Shawn Hutton, Karen Tootle and husband, Gilbert; siblings, Edward Hutton and wife, June, Harold (Diana “Jane” Allen) Hutton, GayAnn (Jeff Barnes) Hutton, Susan Fernandez, Michael (Stacy Woodard) Hutton; grandchildren, Gary Hutton, Jr., Madison Hutton, Brie Sabina, Julian Jr. Sabina, Kaley Tootle, Zachary Tootle; great grandchildren, Aubree Harris, Loreal Hutton; several nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews.

He was a loving husband and father, a real patriarch of the family, especially after the death of his parents. He was a provider, protector and typical older brother that cared and loved all his family.

Theresa M. Whelan Hutton would like to thank loving friends, Russ’ family members and Jim and Pat Whelan for all of their caring assistance in carrying out his final wishes.
