Dorothy Nell Clement, 89, Russellville, passed away Wednesday, Aug. 7, 2013, at Helen Keller Hospital.

She is best known for working for years in the Tharptown school cafeteria and her chocolate oatmeal drop cookies. She was a member of the Baptist church.

The visitation will be 11 a.m. – 2 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 10, 2013, at Spry Memorial Chapel. The funeral service will follow at 2 p.m. in the chapel. Speaking at the funeral will be Bro. James McCullar and grandsons, Kenny Clement and Mark McCullar. Burial will be at Franklin Memory Gardens.

She is survived by her husband of 72 years, Roy Alpha Clement; children, Kenneth Clement and wife, Barbara, Ruby McCullar and husband, James, Howard Clement, Gene Clement and wife, Elaine, Linda Clement, Brenda Enchiff and husband, Roger “Chip”; 15 grandchildren; 36 great-grandchildren and one on the way; 15 great-great-grandchildren with one on the way; sister, Loyce “Sissy” Tucker; and a host of nieces, nephews, and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents, John William amd Audrey Lovell Wallace; four brothers; daughter-in-law, Glenda Clement; great-grandchild, Alexis McCullar.

The pallbearers will be Kenny Clement, Kevin Clement, Mark McCullar, Phil McCullar, Brent Enchiff, Hunter Reed, Wesley Borden and Nate Herring. The honorary pallbearers will be the great-grandsons.

The family would like to extend a special thanks to the nurses and staff of Helen Keller Hospital, Dr. Williams and Dr. McAnalley for the love and care of our mother.
