Dale Scott, 64, Russellville, went to his Heavenly home on Sept. 3, 2013.

He was a graduate of Phil Campbell High School and a member of Frankfort Baptist Church.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Marshall and Claudine Scott; son, Patrick Scott; grandson, Mason Scott; sister, Kathy Fretwell.

Survivors include his loving wife of 42 years, Evelyn Hester Scott; beloved son, Jeremy Scott, Muscle Shoals, and the light of his world grandson, Noah Riley Scott; several aunts, uncles and cousins; and a host of friends.

Special thanks to Dr. Jack McLendon, Dr. Randy Pounders, Heart Health Center, 3rd floor nurses and ICU nurses at Helen Keller Hospital and CCU nurses at ECM Hospital and Shoals Kidney and Hypertension.

He was a devoted husband, father and grandfather. He will always be in our hearts and be missed greatly.

Visitation will be Thursday, September 5, 2013, from 5 p.m. until 8 p.m. at Pinkard Funeral Home, Russellville.  The funeral service will be Friday, 2 p.m. in the funeral home chapel with Jerry Pounders officiating. Burial will follow in Franklin Memory Gardens.
