Donald G. Hamilton, 70, of Russellville, Alabama, passed away Tuesday, Feb. 4, 2014, at Russellville Hospital.

Mr. Hamilton was a lifelong resident of Russellville and was retired as a chemist from Solutia.

The funeral service was Friday, Feb. 7, 2014, at Pinkard Funeral Home Chapel, Russellville, with burial in Franklin Memory Gardens. Hershel Quinn officiated.

Survivors include wife, Peggy Hamilton; daughter, LaDonna Whitmill and husband, Brad; grandchildren, Jacob Hamilton and Kayla Hamilton; brothers, Frank Hamilton, Dennis Jones and wife, Alma, David Jones; sister, Susan Weidman and husband, Bud.

He was preceded in death by son, Scott Hamilton; parents, Miles Hamilton and Bernice Jones.
