Minnie Marie Nelson King, 85, Russellville, passed away on Friday, March 7, 2014 at Russellville Hospital.

Mrs. King loved to quilt and made several beautiful quilts. She also loved to listen to gospel music.

She was preceded in her husband, Hermit Leander “Tirey” King; parents, Tommy & Ethel Michael Nelson; and two sisters.

She is survived by her sons, Carlos King and Jerry Wayne King and their spouses; five grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.

The visitation was Monday, March 10, 2014 at Spry Memorial Chapel with the funeral following. Officiating was Bro. Andy Cansler. Burial was at Knights of Pythias Cemetery.

The family would like to extend a heartfelt thanks to the Intensive Care Unit nurses and staff of Russellville Hospital as well as to Sammy and Opal Hall for the love and care of our mother.
