Juanita Gober Massey, 98, died Tuesday, June 24, 2014 at Burns Nursing Home, Russellville. She was born Jan. 2, 1916 in Franklin County, and was retired from Blue Bell after more than 30 years. She was a member of the Church of Christ.

Services were Thursday, June 26, at Deaton Funeral Home Chapel, Red Bay, with Bro. Bill Woodall and Keith Massey officiating. Burial was in Dempsey Cemetery, Russellville.

Survivors are one son, Howard Massey and wife, Shirley; three grandchildren, Keith Massey and wife, Faye, Kevin Massey and wife, Dana, and Kay Greeson; nine great-grandchildren, Marc Massey and wife, Stephanie, Michelle LeMay and husband, T.J., Kris Massey, Torey Massey and wife, Kimberly, Kaleigh, Drake and Keely Massey and Zach and Kyler Greeson; five great-great-grandchildren, Bo, Kade and Madalyn LeMay and Tyler and Allie Massey; and one brother, Bill Gober.

She was preceded in death by her husband of 66 years, Murphy Massey.

Pallbearers were Keith, Kevin, Marc, Kris and Torey Massey and T.J. LeMay. Honorary pallbearers were Zach and Kyler Greeson.

Visitation was Thursday, June 26, at Deaton Funeral Home, Red Bay.
