Leasie Mildred Fuller Hudson

Leasie Mildred Fuller Hudson, 87, Russellville, passed away on Wednesday, July 16, 2014 at her residence.

Mrs. Hudson worked hard all of her life.  She loved being around her friends and family.

The visitation was Saturday, July 19, 2014 at Spry Memorial Chapel, with the funeral that followed. Officiating was Bro. Eddie Wix.  Burial was at Ramsey King Cemetery, Russellville.

She is survived by her children, Johnnie Bates, Jr. and wife, Mary, Hartland, Mich., Fredia LaPorte, Russellvile; eight grandchildren; 21 great-grandchildren; eight great-great-grandchildren; brother, Delmar Fuller, Russellville; and host of nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Clarence Hudson; infant daughter, June Bates, eldest son, Charles Bates; parents, Spurgeon and Maudie Fuller; five brothers; and six sisters.

The pallbearers were Johnnie Bates III, Michael Franklin, Dakota Taylor, Jeremie James, Jim Martin, Doug Osborn, Chris Harrison, and Mark Longthorne.

The family would like to extend a special thanks to the staff of Hospice of Tennessee Valley and Gentiva Home Health for the love and care of our family.
