Carolyn Marie Lynch Bishop, 59, died Wednesday, Aug. 27, 2014 at Burns Nursing Home, Russellville. She was born in ColbertCounty, and was manager of SheffieldSeniorCenter. She was a member of Russellville Church of God.

Services were Friday, Aug. 29, 2014, at Deaton Funeral Home Chapel, Red Bay, with Bro. Kip Box and Bro. Billy Nichols officiating. Burial was in EbenezerCemetery, Vina.

Survivors are her husband of 34-1/2 years, William Bishop Sr., Vina; two children, Tammie Box and husband, Kip, Mobile, and Lee Bishop and wife, Christy, Tuscumbia; three grandchildren, Madison, Judson and Latrina; three sisters, Jane Credille, Faye Nix and Judy Lucius; two brothers, Sherman Lynch and William Lynch and several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by two children, Corey Whitehead and Stephanie Bishop;

parents, George William Lynch and Anna Willard Newton Lynch; and two brothers, Dexter Lynch and Harold Lynch.

Pallbearers were Joe Lucius, John Lucius, Joey Eades, Judson Box and Nelson Mitchell.

Visitation was Thursday, Aug. 28, at Deaton Funeral Home, RedBay, and until service time on Friday.
