Joe Wheeler Hammock

Joe Wheeler Hammock, 73, died Tuesday, Oct. 7, 2014 at Burns Nursing Home, Russellville.  He was born in Alabama and was a heavy equipment operator for thirty years.

Graveside services were Thursday, Oct. 9, at RedBay CityCemetery, RedBay, with Bro. Jerome Key officiating. Burial was in RedBay CityCemetery.

Survivors are one brother, William Hammock and wife, Betty, Red Bay; four sisters, Emma Garrett and husband, Elbert, Decatur, Ill., Rebecca Jane Childers, Cathy Cupples and Delores Dees and husband, Gary, all of Red Bay; one son, Douglas Hammock, Belmont, Miss.; one daughter, Melissa McGee, Belmont, Miss.; one granddaughter, McKenzie Hammock, Belmont, Miss.; and a host of nieces and nephews.

Pallbearers were family and friends.

Visitation was Thursday, Oct. 9, at Deaton Funeral Home, Red Bay.
