Legions of Zombies are making their way to the small town of Russellville on Oct. 25 as the Russellville Public Library hosts the 2^nd Annual Zombie Walk.

Doors will open at 10 a.m. Festivities include a zombie makeup clinic, a zombie walk instructional class, and the main event will be a zombie parade through downtown Russellville starting at 5 p.m. at the library.

There will be a Brain Eating Contest, a Costume Competition and much more to follow.

The historic Roxy Theatre will also open its doors afterward for a showing of “Night of the Living Dead” at 7 p.m.

It’s free to walk and partial proceeds, made by the sale of T-shirts, novelty and food items, and the professional make-up that will be available will go to the Friends of the Russellville Public Library.

All participants must register with Russellville Public Library before 4 p.m. on Oct. 25. Children under the age of 16 will need a parent’s permission. Registration forms can be accessed from the Russellville Public Library Facebook page, the 2^nd Annual Zombie Walk Russellville Alabama event page, or at the Russellville Public Library located at 110 E. Lawrence St. in Russellville.
