Affordable Care Act info sessions available

Helen Keller Hospital, along with the Muscle Shoals Public Library, is pleased to announce a partnership with Enroll Alabama to host Affordable Care Act education and Health Insurance Marketplace enrollment sessions for Open Enrollment 2015.

Enroll Alabama is a nonpartisan organization whose mission is to maximize the number of uninsured Americans who enroll in health coverage made available by the Affordable Care Act.

Information sessions will begin this month to highlight the Health Insurance Marketplace application process, tips, and success stories.

All sessions are free and open to the public. Education sessions will be held at the Muscle Shoals Public Library on October 28 and November 4 at 6 p.m.

Enrollment sessions will begin in November and will provide assistance to people who have gone through the Marketplace, but have questions about using their insurance or filing for exemptions and appeals.

Enrollment sessions will be held at the Muscle Shoals Public Library on Tuesdays from 4 -6 p.m. November 18 – December 9, 2014 and January 6-February 10, 2015.

Questions about these sessions should be directed to Traniesa Caldwell at 256-432-7494 or EnrollHuntsville@gmail.com.
