Joe Edwards, 58, Russellville, fought his final battle with cancer at his residence surrounded by his family on Tuesday, Oct. 21, 2014,

Joe was a retired electrician.  He worked for Sutton Electric for many years before opening B.J. Electric. He was born March 5, 1956 to J.B. and Betty Edwards. Joe loved playing his guitar and singing. Today he is singing with the angels in Heaven.

The visitation was Thursday, Oct. 23, 2014 at Spry Memorial Chapel. The funeral service was Friday, Oct. 24, 2014 at BethlehemChurch, Russellville, with the body laying in state one hour prior the service. Officiating was Bro. Edward LouAllen and Dick Hasheider. Burial was at BethlehemCemetery

He was predeceased by his parents; sisters, Brenda Edwards, Helen Sue Blankenship; brothers Danny Edwards and Darryle Edwards.

He is survived by his wife, Donna Edwards; daughters, Tanya Tiggs and husband, B.B., Ashley Edwards; step-daughters, Jessica Hardcastle and husband, Thomas, Vanessa Ornsbey and husband, Jackey, Linda Newburn and husband, Chris; ten grandsons, Dylan Bonner, Will Bonner, Collin Bonner, Cade Edwards, Bobby Hardcastle, Braden Hardcastle, Braxton Hardcastle, Ethan Sherman, Conner Sherman, Camden McCrary; one granddaughter, Bella Hardcastle; his beloved dog, Scooter; brother, Terry Edwards and wife, Pat; sister, Sheila Whiting and husband, Robert; the mother of his children, Sheila Edwards; and numerous nieces, nephews, and friends.

The pallbearers were his nephews and great-nephews.
