Halloween observances
Due to the home football game scheduled this Friday, the city of Red Bay will officially observe Halloween on Thursday, Oct. 30, and city leaders encourage all Red Bay residents to prepare for and take their children trick-or-treating on this night since many people will be at the game on Friday.
The city of Russellville will still observe Halloween on Friday, Oct. 31, since the RHS football team will be playing an away game this week. All trick-or-treating that typically takes place in the downtown area will take place on Halloween as scheduled.
Phil Campbell’s football team will play their home game on Thursday this week, so Phil Campbell will observe Halloween on Friday, Oct. 31.
These are the official city observances, but many area churches have also scheduled trunk-or-treat events on different days this week. Please inquire with each individual church about their events.
